Why we should be against the uniform policy? Well, there were certain reasons why we needed to be anti-uniform policy. First, it forbade self-expression and individuality of students. The students were not allowed to select their own clothes, and they were forced to conform. This incapability in choosing ones clothes caused students to lose their uniqueness. Second, it caused discipline problem. Some students objected to any rule. Rules in their clothes were particularly intolerable to some. They revised their uniform by lengthening, shortening, widening or heightening their clothes. Tension between students and teachers arose, as the teacher tried to impose, the rules the students also tried to oppose. Lastly, it was not related to academics. Proof was some students were scruffy dressers. There was no doubt that students could learn even if they dress, as they wanted. At the end, it was not with the formal uniform that students were known but with how they took education seriously.
