Blog 2: The Other Side of Twilight Movie

The Twilight was not actually a good movie for some reasons. First, it was merely different from the real story in the book. Some of the essential scenes in the book were not present in the movie, and there were add on scenes in the movie like Edward Cullen catching the apple, but this scene explained the cover of the Twilight book. Next, the abundance of secondary characters that served no real purpose. There existence might have a point in the sequel of Twilight like Jacob, who was not really having a big role, but in New Moon (Sequel of Twilight), he would be somewhat replacing Edward for a moment. Then, the characters were not able to deliver dialogues that gave impact to the audience. The famous line of Edward in the book, “You are my life now”, had not given emphasis and had not conveyed greatly by the actor in the movie. Perhaps, the most important reason was the chemistry between the leads, but it was not so explosive. There chemistry could be described as a sluggish spark still trying to shine dazzlingly until the end of the movie.
